Our Mission

Welcome to the Bettered Bee Rehabilitation Center, a place where bees can receive the care and support they need to overcome addiction and other behavioral issues.  Our mission is simple: to return every bee to their fullest potential.

Our center was founded on the belief that every living creature deserves a chance to live a healthy and happy life, including honey bees.  Unfortunately, like many other creatures, bees can become addicted to certain substances, such as fermented nectar, rhododendron flowers, and sugars which can have a negative impact on their health and wellbeing.  These issue aren't individual and often times impacts the family, hive, and community its involved in.

At our center, we provide a safe and nurturing environment where honey bees can receive treatment for both behavioral and substance issues. Our team of trained professionals, including beekeepers and IPM's, are dedicated to helping bees recover and thrive.

Many of the bees that come to our center are unmotivated, homeless, and lazy from stress eating.  In order to bring the individual bee to it's fullest potential we use a proven strategy of reintegration.  By introducing these unruly gang members to a strong female mentor we can systematically change the habits in the bees life.

We offer a range of services to meet the unique needs of each bee, including detoxification, behavioral therapy, and support groups. Our detoxification process involves removing harmful substances from the bee's system and providing a healthy diet to help them regain strength. Our behavioral therapy focuses on identifying and changing negative patterns of behavior, such as dependence on harmful substances, while our support groups provide a safe and supportive community for bees to share their experiences and receive encouragement from others.

At our center, we are committed to using only natural and organic methods to promote healing and recovery for our bees. We believe that by working with nature and not against it, we can create a healthier and more sustainable environment for all living creatures.

We understand that addiction and mental health is a complex issue and that each bee's journey to recovery will be unique. That's why we provide personalized care and support to ensure that each bee receives the help they need to overcome addiction and live a fulfilling life.
